Poptropica Steamworks Island is the latest island quest that you can play on Poptropica. Only paid members can play it
right now, but the public can start playing soon. It will become available for all others to experience on Sept 9. It's the first adventure since the incredibly popular Poptropica Skullduggery Island was launched previously in 2010 poptropica tips. /> The basic idea of Steamworks Island is that you'll check out an old island that has been overgrown and overrun with plants. You'll make use of a variety of retro steam-powered devices as part of your journey. The creators have posted concept art and screenshots of a gadget called the multi-tool which you will employ more than once. They have also heavily hinted that you'll run a "mech" robot at some stage in the experience. poptropica cheats One of the individuals you will encounter in Steamworks Island is a small robot. Very little is understood concerning the robot, but he has recently been showcased plainly within the Poptropica Blog in recent months via sneak peeks and screenshots. We all know that the robot is fearful and curls up in a ball until you kick or tap him. The robot also appears briefly in the official trailer and seems to be following the main character. Therefore it sounds like the robot is a helpful robot. One of the most amazing elements of Steamworks Island is towards the end when you get to ride in a Mech. In the past islands like Counterfeit, there were a few cut scenes where you would employ a vehicle, but in Steamworks you get to make use of the Mech for a extensive part of the quest. Before you can ride in it, you must find 2 missing components: the steam motor and the mech crank. When you track down these two items, you'll install them on the Mech inside Sully's shop and be off and running. You'll use the Mech to wipe out almost all of the plant monsters including the big boss monsters at the very end of the quest. 2011-08-28 You can add items from the left menu by dragging them here.
You know I have been trying to play Poptropica a lot these past few weeks. When it first was released
there were not a lot of island missions but now there are tons you can do. I'm pretty sure the best one they have ever made is Astro-Knights Island. It's sort of like King Arthur's Knights of the Round table in space. You are trying to rescue a princess who has been kidnapped and taken to a different planet. Along the way you have to also rescue the three other knights who tried to rescue her before you and failed. If you've only played some of the earlier Poptropica islands, like Shark Tooth or 24 Carrot, you'll be surprised at how long it takes to finish Astro-Knights. I found a good Astro-Knights walkthrough and that helped a lot. One of the toughest parts was definitely the robot fish that leap out of the water on the Ice Planet poptropica. Man they were so tough! So was the dragon at the end of the Fire Planet. However the hardest part of the whole quest is definitely the boss battle at the end. First you have to catch all these bombs that he drops and then drop them on him before they go kaboom. You have to get all the timing down exactly right to do it. After that you do the second part of the battle where you jump around avoiding his laser beams and you try to get him to hit the lights instead so that they fall on top of him. It is much more difficult that it sounds at first. Even with the help I got using the step-by-step video tutorials I absolutely failed the initial few times. But I did finally get it right and I won the battle and got the medal at the end poptropica. I was pretty excited to win after spending so much time trying to beat it. And although this quest took forever and was so hard, I enjoyed it a lot poptropica tips. I would rank it as the best island in Poptropica. I'm still working my way through them and am looking forward to trying out Counterfeit Island and some of the others soon. 2011-08-28 Start blogging by clicking in this area.
